Global Citizen Year Fellows also receive special consideration for Allegheny’s Global Citizen Scholars program.

Dickinson College offers a Public Service Fellowship to admitted Dickinson students who decide to pursue domestic or global service work during their gap year. This Fellowship takes the form of a $10,000 tuition credit toward the first semester tuition when they matriculate at Dickinson. Previous Global Citizen Year participants have been selected by Dickinson for this prestigious Fellowship.

In 2018 Duke University announced the creation of a new Gap Year Program to support admitted students in pursuing a meaningful gap year experience before matriculating at Duke. Duke includes Global Citizen Year on its list of recommended programs, and Global Citizen Year has agreed to match the gap year scholarship provided by Duke for students who apply and are accepted to join Global Citizen Year.

Global Citizen Year and Lafayette College launched a partnership in 2016 in recognition of our shared mission to prepare students to make a difference in communities throughout the world. To encourage more students to consider a meaningful global gap year, Lafayette College shares information about the Global Citizen Year Fellowship with prospective students, and will defer admitted students' admission offer and financial aid package for one year to allow them to participate.

Quest University and Global Citizen Year launched a partnership in 2018 in recognition of our shared mission to increase global understanding through experiential learning in communities around the world. To encourage more students to consider a meaningful global gap year, Quest University is sharing information about the Global Citizen Year Fellowship with prospective students, and will defer admitted students' admission offer and financial aid package for one year to allow them to participate. In addition, Quest University offers a $5K per year scholarship to students who complete a Global Citizen Year and then matriculate at Quest.

Tufts University and Global Citizen Year launched a partnership in 2015 in recognition of our shared mission to train our next generation of globally and civically minded leaders. Global Citizen Year partners with Tisch College at Tufts University to implement the Tufts 1+4 Bridge Year Service Learning Program. Each year 8 to 10 Tufts students who have been selected for the 1+4 Program join Global Citizen Year in Brazil, India or Senegal.

To encourage more students to consider a meaningful global gap year, the University of Chicago is sharing information about the Global Citizen Year Fellowship with admitted students, and will defer their admission offer and financial aid package for one year to allow selected students to participate.

UNC-Chapel Hill and Global Citizen Year launched a partnership in early 2019 to recommend Global Citizen Year as an option for UNC's select group of Global Gap Year Fellows (GGYF). Global Citizen Year will match the gap year stipend provided by UNC and offer additional support based on financial need. After their Global Citizen Year, these UNC students will become members of the active GGYF community on campus.

The University of Notre Dame and Global Citizen Year share a commitment to support young people who wish to make a meaningful contribution to the world. Through a new partnership between University of Notre Dame Admissions, the Keough School of Global Affairs, and Global Citizen Year, admitted Notre Dame students will have the option to pursue a year of global immersion and service before matriculating. The University will defer a student’s' admission offer and financial aid package for one year to allow them to join Global Citizen Year. When students arrive on campus, they will have access to special opportunities for ongoing global engagement through the Keough School of Global Affairs.

AMP Global Scholars is an intensive international relations program that builds the knowledge and skills high school students need to make social change on a local and global scale. Global Citizen Year partners with AMP Global Scholars to provide a $2,500 merit scholarship for alums of their program.

College Track empowers students from underserved communities to graduate from college and maximize the value of their college degree. Global Citizen Year is pleased to offer two unique scholarship spots reserved exclusively for College Track scholars.

Global Glimpse is a highly selective, structured leadership program that launches motivated US high school students from a wide range of backgrounds into a short term international experience. Global Citizen Year is happy to provide our Global Glimpse students the opportunity to return abroad for a longer immersive experience.

Knack adds innovation and insight to our admissions process by inviting applicants to play mobile games that help them pinpoint their strengths and traits.

Rosetta Stone provides our Fellows with licesnses to their award-winning language learning software. Thanks to Rosetta Stone's generous contribution, Fellows are empowered to arrive abroard with a strong language foundation already in place.

Through their Power of Us program, Salesforce.org donates 10 product licenses to Global Citizen Year. This ensures that we continue to operate efficiently and effectively using the latest technology.

Shoulder-to-Shoulder provides high school students with the opportunity to live and serve 'shoulder-to-shoulder' with expert non-profit leaders and their communities, working directly on projects to make a long-lasting impact. Global Citizen Year is glad to provide these students with the opportunity to return abroad and serve in a community apprenticeship for a year.

Teach For India provides apprenticeships for our India Fellows as teaching assistants working to eliminate educational inequality in India’s most under-resourced schools.

The Society of Torch & Laurel is a high school honors program providing high school high-achievers and their families with the vital tools to successfully transition to college. Global Citizen Year believes in this mission as well and is excited to have these students join as Fellows.

United World Colleges (UWC) is a network of international high schools that is a part of a global education movement making education a force to unite people, nations and cultures. Global Citizen Year is proud to partner with UWC to admit up to offer 40 unique scholarship spots reserved exclusively for UWC graduating scholars.
