Education Apprenticeships in India
Global Citizen Year is proud to offer a unique partnership with Teach For India. TFI is working to eliminate educational inequality by placing talented young teachers in under-resourced schools. ALL Global Citizen Year Fellows in India work as teaching assistants alongside their TFI mentors, helping with lesson plans, posters, tutoring, and leading lessons.
Chloe was an assistant teacher in a class of 38 second grade students.
Sebastian's role evolved from making posters and grading tests to tutoring and teaching.
Mandula provided one-on-one support to help one of her students learn to read.
